Configuring Exchange Connector for Service Manager 2012
This article will describe the installation and configuration of Exchange Connector for Service Manager 2012.
Introduction:
In today's world IT is quite complex and not easy to plan, deploy, and configure it in all systems. In the 1980 's in the United Kingdom Government planning structure created a project called it infrastructure library (ITIL), became famous last year to carry out its projects around the world. System Center Service Manager is the Microsoft solution used in the ITIL basics, and give you a tool to control and count of your IT Department. 3 the Exchange Connector is an Exchange add-on, so you can create events, and other work items, and manage email stream.
Installation:
Firstly, you need to download Exchange Connector 3.0 from here and the corresponding Exchange Web Services API from here.
Then, we need to copy the following DLLs to the System Center Service Manager root directory:
Finally, you need to start Service Manager Console with administrative permissions and add the following Management Packs to Service Manager:
Configuration:
A first step in the configuration is to add the newly available Exchange Connector in the SCSM Console as follows.

You need to give a unique name for the connector and define, reflecting public address the mailbox settings page of the parser. This email address must match the Service Manager workflow account has been established.
In addition, you can enable or disable the connector and define "Impersonation". If you want to have multiple instances of the Exchange Connector to another mailbox, you need to configure Exchange to allow the worker process to run as accounts to simulate the powers of another of the recipient's mailbox.
Each mailbox that you want to monitor with the Exchange Connector, you will need to run the following PowerShell command:
New-ManagementScope –Name:scopeName –RecipientRestrictionFilter:recipientFilter
The email reply must always be: because the Exchange 2007 SP1 or earlier installation uses English titles. This field allows to study the CMDB (configuration management database) and define the configuration item (CI) as an incident of the owner, the Service Manager.
