2012 Exchange Mailbox Server Interactions
The Mailbox server must interact directly with the following:
- Active Directory
- Client access server
- Hub Transport server
- Unified Messaging server
- Microsoft Outlook client
- Mail server uses LDAP to access the recipient, server and organization configuration information from Active Directory.
- The driver of the warehouse on the Hub Transport server to receive messages from the transport pipeline in the corresponding mailbox. The driver on the Hub Transport server store messages on mailbox servers Outbox of the sender for the transport of the pipe. - A client client access server requests are sent to the mailbox server and returns the data from the server to the client. Client access servers can access a mailbox through NetBIOS Server shared files on the OAB files. The client access server sends between the client and the mail server data types, including messages, data, configuration of the client and OAB data profile.
- Integrate Communications Server retrieved from the server that email, mail voice and information calendar Outlook Voice Access. - Outlook clients inside the firewall access the client access server to send and retrieve messages. Outlook clients outside the firewall can access the server from client access using Outlook Anywhere (http to use RPC). However, Outlook clients that you want to view or modify public folder client access server uses RPC for TCP access. - Only Manager computer retrieved from the topology of the topology information service Active Directory Microsoft Exchange Active Directory. Also retrieve information from email address and email address list policy.
- Server access from client to use LDAP or name service provider interface (NSPI) connects to the Active Directory Server and retrieves the user's Active Directory information.
